The Location

Having moved across the street from its original location on May 1, 2007, Amazwi Contemporary Art is still located at the southern gateway to the historic district of downtown Saugatuck, Michigan. Our new address is 249 Culver Street, which for years was Tuck's Christmas Shop (Tuck's has moved across the street).

The hub of "Michigan's Art Coast," the Saugatuck-Douglas area is unique in its combination of culture and year-round fun, from cruising a wide variety of art galleries to water sports, sunbathing, golf, fishing, dining at premier restaurants and visiting a wide and eclectic array of shops.

Take I-69 across the state to the northern part of Lansing until the exit for I-96
Take I-96 over to the northern part of Grand Rapids until the exit for I-196 South/West
Take I-196 South/West until Exit 41 (Saugatuck)

From southeastern Michigan, Ohio and eastern Indiana

Take Highway 75, 23, 127, or 69 up to I-94 West
Follow I-94 West through Jackson, Battle Creek, and Kalamazoo to 131 North
Take 131 North to 89 North/West through Otsego, Allegan, and Fennville to I-196 North
